• Water pools on the interior sill after rain, even with the door closed. The threshold sealant bed has failed. • Visible gaps between the frame and drywall, or exterior stucco cracks radiating from the jamb. The installation anchors have pulled, or the frame was never properly tied to the structural opening. • Excessive noise or whistling during wind events. The perimeter seal has lost compression. ES Windows specifies a minimum 30% compression on bulb seals; after 8-10 years of UV and ozone exposure in Pinecrest, most have hardened to 50+ Shore A and no longer rebound.
